1. Box Breathing

Box breathing is a powerful technique used by Navy SEALs to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations. To practice box breathing, follow these steps:

  1. Inhale deeply for a count of 4 seconds.
  2. Hold your breath for another 4 seconds.
  3. Exhale slowly for 4 seconds.
  4. Hold your breath again for 4 seconds.
  5. Repeat this cycle for several minutes.

2. Alternate Nostril Breathing

Alternate nostril breathing, also known as Nadi Shodhana, is a yogic breathing technique that helps balance the left and right sides of the brain. Here's how to do it:

  1. Sit comfortably with your spine straight.
  2. Place your right thumb over your right nostril and inhale through your left nostril for a count of 4 seconds.
  3. Close your left nostril with your right ring finger, hold your breath for 4 seconds.
  4. Release your right nostril and exhale for 4 seconds.
  5. Inhale through your right nostril, close it, and exhale through your left nostril. Repeat this cycle.

Lion's Breath is a fun and energizing breathing exercise that can help release tension in your face and throat. To practice Lion's Breath:

  1. Sit in a comfortable position with your spine straight.
  2. Inhale deeply through your nose.
  3. Open your mouth wide, stick out your tongue, and exhale forcefully while making a "ha" sound.
  4. Repeat this 3-4 times.
